Productizing Realtime Feedback
for B2B SaaS.
A complete redesign of the Realtime Feedback product ecosystem across Mobile App, Web Admin, and Landing Page, transforming a rigid internal tool into a deeply customizable B2B SaaS platform.
01. Context & Strategic Challenge
FeedbackMe started as an internal tool. The strategic challenge from the CEO was to re-architect and productize it into a commercial SaaS platform for B2B clients.
Rebuild the platform to enable deep customization so clients can self-configure data structures, workflows, and dynamic reports to match their own operations.
- Shift from fixed internal workflows to configurable B2B architecture.
- Design with an MVP-first delivery mindset to meet launch constraints.
- Balance flexibility for admins with usable day-to-day operations for field teams.
02. Process & Solutions
The redesign focused on building core platform capabilities that could unlock long-term scalability while still shipping a practical MVP on time.
Build the foundational customization system first, then shape onboarding and daily usage flows so clients can adopt faster with less dependency on technical teams.
- Redesigned Web Admin into a Control Center for full client-side configuration.
- Shipped the first customization engine version for admin-level setup with support documentation.
- Designed the "Import from template" onboarding flow with success states and error handling.
- Streamlined the mobile app so field staff can input data faster and with higher accuracy.
03. My Role
I led the end-to-end UX/UI redesign across mobile, web admin, and landing page experiences, collaborating closely with engineering to convert strategic product goals into shippable interaction patterns.
Ensure the product can scale commercially while preserving usability for both administrators and operational users.
- Defined interaction architecture for deep self-configuration in Web Admin.
- Designed import onboarding patterns based on real Excel schema constraints.
- Created reusable UI patterns and logic for consistent rollout across modules.
- Redesigned mobile flows to reduce operational friction in field scenarios.
- Worked with developers to align UX scope with MVP milestones and deadlines.
04. Key Outcomes & Projected Impact
The release established the core SaaS foundations needed for commercial rollout and improved the path from client onboarding to daily execution.
The onboarding import flow solved a core activation bottleneck and is projected from internal testing to reduce setup time from several days to just minutes.
- Onboarding: "Import from template" launched and validated as the key setup accelerator.
- Client empowerment: self-configuration capability reduces future dependency on support teams.
- Faster development: standardized workflows and components improved delivery speed and stability.
05. Lessons Learned
Transforming an internal tool into a market-ready product requires flexibility, prioritization discipline, and a clear MVP mindset at every phase.
MVP Prioritization
Scope clarity and sequencing are critical when architecture and usability must evolve together under deadlines.
Cross-team Loop
A bi-weekly product and sales sync would surface field feedback earlier and convert it into actionable requirements faster.
Scalable Productization
Designing for configuration from day one builds a stronger foundation for commercial growth than patching flexibility later.
